This TV has aprox 1 inch wide black stripe about five inches in on left side. We actually got used to it being there as it is so far from the action on the screen.
Otherwise works great.
No grinding please. the TV is $70 and it is what it is.
No I wont accept a lower price.
Wont last long at that price.
